9,500 seedlings planted at Bio·R’s Seed Orchard

Over the past week, a small number of our fantastic Bio·R team planted 9,500 plants at our Frahns Farm Seed Orchard!

In the near future, these plants will be harvested for their seeds and used in further habitat restoration projects at Frahns Farm. By growing our own grass and forb seeds, we can continue to scale up our projects and ensure that our revegetation has a biodiverse understory to create functional habitat for wildlife.

We’re also pleased to share that the seedlings used in the planting of the Seed Orchard were funded through the 10X10 Philanthropy Adelaide event in February.
