Near Kingscote on Kangaroo Island is a magnificent 300 hectare property, Cygnet Park Sanctuary, which has been transformed from mainly open paddocks grazed by sheep to a completely revegetated state in ten years.
Sunday 19th July was a glorious winter’s day that witnessed a motley crew planting hundreds of seedlings – sheoaks, wattles and the rare silver daisy-bush – on the rolling hills at Frahn’s Farm.

This past week one of our volunteers, Fi, has been ‘Scientist in Residence’ at Wilderness School, speaking to girls from Years 7 to 12 on her role as a scientist, as well as some of the environmental issues that we face in South Australia.
